Children's photography

Childrens photoshoot sessions are absolutely the most fun days which is the most improtant part! They make give the biggest smiles and most natural expressions. Why not take the chance to spend a morning or afternoon having wonderful memories captured of your child or children out on a wellie walk, running through the meadows or swinging on a farm gate! These are the pictures that will encapsulate the essence of their childhood, the playful nature and the wonders of youth that you will be able to look back on for years to come.

It is my aim to ensure that your child is relaxed and at ease with the camera and myself before we start the session (and I have worked with children in other proffesions for many years, so I know how to get a giggle!), this allows a trust in front of the camera and creates space for them to share their personality in front of the lens so the pictures we capture are the real versions of themselves.

Having siblings, cousins or friends in the same shoot is an excellent way to share the session, by photographing their bond and relationships, seeing the fun they have with one another and the love between them makes pictures that are priceless.

Ideal for families to share with relatives and encapsulating the early years where they are ever changing and growing. whether these are individual children, siblings or best friends this is an opportunity to capture their youth, fun and developing personalities. I take the time to make your child feel at ease, understand their personality and hopefully make them laugh and smile! They also make the best subjects and are the most fun to photograph and it's always amazing how well they take direction in front of the camera!

Although I don't use props for my photography I would recommend bringing a favourite teddy or doll as a comforter and to be included in the pictures. We all remember our first teddy so why not include them so that when you child looks back in years to come they have the first best friend right there with them!

Greetings cards

Have beautiful images taken of you children to use on holiday greetings cards giving that special touch to you festivities and making a fantastic keepsake for friends and relatives. I love to capture these shots as the magic of Christmas or Easter provides a very sentimental feeling and influences the pictures immensely.

Children's special day

Mark and remember those special milestone birthdays, the first lost tooth or just take the opportunity to capture their ever changing lives.

These can create an excellent collection over the years as your child grows and reaches the big birthdays. Even though the next one is always the big one according to them!

On the day

We will run through everything that we have discussed and I like to take some time to chat with your children and giver them an opportunity to feel comfortable and get to know me allowing them a chance to feel at ease which will ultimately play out in better images with real smiles and laughs.

If you are having a nursery, school or club session we will have outlined an order prior to my arrival and set up on your grounds and begin working through an alphabetical list and take a chance to get some informal images for you to display.
